PRESENTS

Walk for Recovery II

June 16, 2007 Starting at 10am

Pioneer Park in Nevada City

We want everyone to know that Treatment works, and Recovery is happening right here in our community providing hope to many and their families. Last year at our first Walk For Recovery we walked in celebration of the power of Hope. We raised enough money to provide assistance all year to addicts and alcoholics beginning their journey in recovery. Recovery Alumni Association invites you to be a part of the solution by forming a team of three or more people to go out into the community and get individuals and/or businesses to sponsor your team. A suggested goal for each team member is $25 or more.
Whether you are in recovery, know someone in recovery, or just support The Power of Recovery in everyone’s lives, by walking you can:
help remove barriers that can hinder early recovery
offer hope that recovery is possible
help eliminate the stigma surrounding addiction

Awards will be presented to the teams that raise the most money at our annual Bar-B-Que and will receive honorable mention in the Union newspaper.

IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS OWNER

Please show your support of our efforts to 'BUCK METH' and other dangerous drugs out of Nevada County by becoming a sponsor. If possible, we encourage you to sponsor and enter a team of your employees to participate in our Walk for Recovery. You are welcome to wear your own uniforms if you wish, to show the community that your company endorses our efforts to make Nevada County drug free. IF YOU ARE A STUDENT:

You know that drug abuse is affecting the youth of Nevada County. Recovery Alumni Association invites you to be a part of the solution by going out into the community and getting parents, individuals and/or businesses to sponsor you or your team. Every dollar raised by students will be placed in a special fund to be used solely for other students in CoRR’s adolescent programs. CLICK HERE to view & print a Student Sponsor form.
